Outfit of the Day: Camo Combo

Jacket: Vintage, Hat, Necklace & Jumper: H&M and Skirt: Primark

Hello,

Doesn't this skirt look like leather, yeh?...well I think it does, anndddd it's not! It's some effect I do not understand and has this light pattern printed onto it, just lovely - and it's burgundy, oh sorry 'oxblood'...love that, it's burgundy but oxblood does just sound so much better doesn't it!Sorry for my lack of posts this week, managed to slip down some steps and twist my ankle on the weekend and haven't been wearing anything that's tight on the ankle due to the fat leg issue, not so fashion fantastic! Back now though. Hope everyone is starting to have a lovely festive time.

Outfit of the Day: (Un)Twee Tweed = Boucle.

Jacket: MuuBaa, Top: DIY, Skirt: Oasis via eBay & Belt: Primark

Hello,

Before 2012 on the whole, for me,  tweed meant - countryside, old posh men, flat cap and all of that (couldn't resist the rhyme!)...but not anymore, bring on boucle. I like having a formerly unknown texture to work with, to mix into my wardrobe. And to ensure no move toward 'twee' is made I've added the fail safe combo of studs and biker leather. If I had been good enough to take a shot that included my feet (duh - in my defence you then end up with too much of my little cramped room in the shot), you would see I'm wearing my Office studded buckle boots to add to the contrast, oh well...at least I said it, right?!

Outfit of the Day: A Sweater is Better

Hat: H&M, Bomber Jacket: Vintage, Jumper: Primark, Shirt: New Look, Necklace: H&M, Jeans: H&M & Bag: Vintage

Hello,

I know this sweatshirt is kinda plain (though I do love a bit of grey marl!) and boring in contrast with all the incredible ones around - but you see I just can't decide which of the cool ones to get, I have to find the perfect one...obviously!

In the past I've always shied away from sweatshirts as they've felt too sporty for my style, but they really have had a re-vamp and come in all shapes and sizes this season. I enjoy the wonderful influence of street style and bloggers in fuelling fashions love of unexpected combinations and mixtures, which has lead to a much more varied wardrobe on my part - specifically the influence of some awesome swedish/danish bloggers has fuelled my interest in the more casual, androgynous look, sporty. Occasionally I feel a little disconnected from what I used to associate my 'style' as being, but mostly I enjoy the much broader possibilities and purchases. Now I just need to whittle all the options down and find the perfect jumper, I quite fancy a tiger or a lion maybe...any suggestions?

Outfit of the Day: Lots of layers, but no bulk.

Coat: Vintage, Jumper: Primark, Belt: Primark, Dress: Urban Outfitters & Bag: Vintage

Hello,

Sorry for my absence, I've been suffering from "ooooh it's so cold I'm going to stay in bed and run out of time before work" syndrome, along with the occasional smidge of "I'll just put on that nice snuggly jumper today instead...". So hurrah, something warm via lots of smaller layers (there is a leotard posing as a vest underneath this!) to keep me warm but not looking like a bulky michelin man!
